LABS
A science lab is a workplace for the conduct of scientific research. It helps students to remember the concepts better and to transfer the experience to real-life situations. It is a facility that provides controlled conditions in which scientific research, experiments and measurements may be performed.

New Horizon World Academy has the best-designed, spacious, sophisticated and safe Science laboratories. These labs are equipped with the most modern apparatus which encourage students to learn through experiment and research work.

At our school, a scientific temperament is nurtured through fully equipped and suitably designed laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Students are encouraged to use the facilities for enhancing their innovative and scientific skills. The Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Math and Home Science labs cater to the needs of conducting experiments specified by ICSE. Students can perform a wide range of experiments simultaneously while the teachers are always at hand to provide constant supervision and guidance for optimum results. Projects can be developed of a very superior standard thereby encouraging investigative analysis and reasoning.

In the biology lab, the students study detailed structures, morphological, histological and physiological aspects of plants and animals. Our labs are well stocked with sufficient chemicals, specimens and instruments so that every student gets the opportunity to carry out the experiments individually. Moreover, the safety of each and every child while handling the chemicals and instruments is duly taken care of. The aim of having separate labs is to provide ample time and adequate equipment for every student to perform the experiments as per the ICSE Council guidelines. Audio Visual Room

An Audio Visual (AV) Room is an essential facility in modern educational institutions that enhances teaching and learning through multimedia resources. It is a dedicated space equipped with various technological tools such as projectors, speakers, computers, interactive whiteboards, and sound systems to facilitate audio-visual learning.

The AV room plays a crucial role in transforming traditional education into a more dynamic, interactive, and effective experience. As technology continues to evolve, integrating such facilities in schools ensures that students are better prepared for the digital world.

The school is equipped with Audio Visual rooms with latest technology using TFT screens, computers, internet connectivity, amplifiers, speakers and much more during regular teaching- learning class sessions in Primary, Middle and the Senior wing. The School Medical room is a well-equipped facility headed by a qualified and experienced Nurse. Urgent medical treatment is administered efficiently. For emergencies, the school has a tie-up with established hospitals. The medical staff of the clinic conducts regular medical check-ups of the students and also maintains the records. Furthermore, the students are also examined by reputed dentists and ophthalmologists.

A healthy body houses a healthy mind. At NHWA, we always encourage students to eat home-cooked food. However, for the convenience of students and staff, the school canteen provides light snacks and refreshments. All efforts are made to ensure that the items served are fresh and meet the required health standards. The canteen is open to students only during the recess period.

NHWA has a well-equipped, well-organized, and air-conditioned computer labs where students can learn how to operate computers and assists students in developing robust computer skills by offering them the best-in-class computer systems. All computers come with modern software and cutting-edge learning tools for robotics, coding, and programming. Students are also introduced to a variety of digital tools by a professional mentor who helps them learn new and relevant information needed for their studies. Projectors, smart boards, scanners, printers, software and other variety of hardware are placed in computer labs.
